Position summary
The Communications and Digital Media Specialist supports developing and implementing a structured communications function driving forward GLEIF’s mission and strategic objectives through a diverse, multi-channel PR and marketing mix with global reach. The focus areas are China, India, Japan, and Singapore. Working experience in one or more of these countries would be a benefit, same with fluency in one of the languages of the focus areas. The Communications and Digital Media Specialist supports the Senior Communications and Digital Manager (external and internal channels related to GLEIF’s implemented 360° communications model). That includes the timely implementation of GLEIF’s Corporate Communications campaigns into a social strategy, including the management of the social postings in the above-mentioned focus countries. The Communications and Digital Media Specialist has a minimum of 3 professional years in social media, digital communications, public relations, or equivalent in an international agency or corporate setting. The role reports to the Head of Global Corporate Communications.
Key Responsibilities:
General
Maintaining GLEIF’s digital media platforms and evolving an outreach program aimed at establishing strong rapport between GLEIF and its target audiences in China, India, Japan and Singapore promoting GLEIF services.
Production of communications materials
- Project-based support with regard to logistics, administration, scheduling and general
organizational aspects
Day-to-day management of GLEIF’s digital media presence
- Build and maintain social media platforms in line with applicable company policies
- Create and curate shareable content including visuals, videos, and copy in dialog with Head
of Corporate Global Communications - Maintain consistency of brand and messaging across platforms and campaigns
- Help in setting, monitoring and reaching monthly KPIs
- Responsible for identifying, following and recruiting new followers
- Provide monthly analytics on the evolution of GLEIF social media platforms
- Stay up to date on and deploy new social media tools and best practices
Online and social media monitoring
- Help define and implement the methodology applied to ensure effective monitoring of third
party online and social media platforms to identify traction of GLEIF activities and of the LEI
story including sentiment articulated by target audiences and key influencers - Identify and deploy tools required to perform the monitoring (e.g. Hootsuite, media
intelligence monitoring services) - Produce reports within agreed timelines capturing mentions of key search terms on thirdparty
online platforms and social media to identify information needs of GLEIF audiences as
well as relevant developments in the market place - Provide monthly reports on key topics, initiators, influencers and sentiments articulated
- Creative + technical skills for short video production
- Experience in information visualization like designing infographics or other graphic material
across different formats and channels
Website management
- Implement website updates using content management system in line with applicable
policies - Identify and report data indicating performance of the GLEIF website using established tools
such as, for example, Google Analytics - Manage SEO configurations in dialog with Senior Communications and Digital Manager and
GLEIF’s IT department - Support the evolution of GLEIF’s corporate identity in dialog with Head of Global Corporate
Communications and CEO; this includes coordinating design projects relevant to the GLEIF
website - Support the process of in-house controlling of translations of English language website
content provided by translations agency.
Cooperation with third-party event organizers
- Curate GLEIF website section ‘Events’ showcasing, among others, conferences and events
organized by third parties open to the public relevant in the wider context of identification
management, data management, risk management and financial services standards - Cultivate relationships and negotiate media counter agreements with third-party event
organizers - Monitor implementation of media counter agreements concluded with third-party event
organizers - Active management of GLEIF’s event management overview including reviews with GLEIF’s
key stakeholder on a regular base
Press office
- Support management of GLEIF’s press office at the direction of the Head of Global Corporate
Communications
Internal reporting
- Responsible for creating regular internal reports on communications activities and results
achieved - Further development of new reportings formats to fit our stakeholder needs
