글로벌 조직 식별의 출발점

법인식별기호(LEI)는 전 세계적으로 연결된 검증 가능하고 상호 운용 가능한 비즈니스 신원 및 정보 네트워크를 달성하기 위한 출발점입니다. 이는 전 세계 어디서나 누구나 법인에 대한 명확하고 고유한 식별 데이터에 액세스할 수 있도록 하는 20자의 영숫자 고유의 코드입니다.

모든 LEI는 고유하며 하나의 법인만 나타낼 수 있습니다.

각 법인의 LEI 코드는 글로벌 LEI 색인에서 액세스할 수 있는 법인의 소유 구조를 포함하여 권위 있는 현지 출처의 검증된 기준 정보에 연결됩니다.

이러한 방식으로 LEI는 '누가 누구인가 ' 및 '누가 누구를 소유하는가'라는 질문에 대한 답을 제공합니다 .

LEI는 ISO 17442의 네 가지 필수 원칙을 준수합니다:

1. 글로벌 표준
2. 각 법인에 할당된 단일 고유 식별기호
3. 고품질 데이터에 의해 지원됨

전 세계 법인은 글로벌 ISO 17442 표준을 기반으로 하고 G20과 금융안정위원회의 지원을 받고 규제감독위원회(ROC)의 감독을 받는 초국가적 비영리 재단인 GLEIF가 관리하기 때문에 LEI의 정당성을 인정하고 동의하며 신뢰하고 있습니다.
