Menautkan Pengenal ke Daftar Pencatatan Bisnis dan Sumber Otoritatif Lainnya

Inisiatif 'penautan' GLEIF bertujuan untuk merampingkan proses uji tuntas mitra pengimbang dan meningkatkan transparansi dalam transaksi global dengan meningkatkan kemampuan identifikasi dan penemuan berbagai bisnis secara global.

Setiap catatan LEI berisi informasi rujukan utama yang didaftarkan oleh sumber otoritatif setempat untuk memungkinkan identifikasi yang jelas dan unik terhadap berbagai badan hukum secara global. Inisiatif 'penautan' menambahkan URL khusus ke catatan LEI milik entitas yang didaftarkan oleh sumber otoritatif yang berpartisipasi, sehingga memungkinkan akses yang mudah dan langsung ke data pendaftaran resmi setiap entitas dan dokumentasi terkait di situs web daftar pencatatan yang relevan.

Hal ini akan secara signifikan merampingkan pemeriksaan Know Your Customer (KYC), Know Your Supplier (KYS), dan kewajiban uji tuntas lainnya bagi pengguna data global. Hal ini meniadakan persyaratan bagi pengguna data global untuk mengidentifikasi otoritas pendaftaran yang relevan pada awalnya, menavigasi ke situs web yang benar, menerjemahkannya ke dalam bahasa lokal, lalu mencari sebuah organisasi secara manual menggunakan nomor registrasi bisnisnya.
