Vinculación de los identificadores con los registros mercantiles y otras fuentes fidedignas
La iniciativa de «vinculación» de la GLEIF tiene como objetivo agilizar los procesos de diligencia debida de las contrapartes y aumentar la transparencia en las transacciones globales impulsando la capacidad de identificación y de descubrimiento de las empresas a escala mundial.
Cada registro de LEI contiene información de referencia clave registrada por fuentes fidedignas locales para permitir la identificación clara y única de entidades legales a escala global. La iniciativa de «vinculación» incorpora una URL específica a los registros de LEI de las entidades inscritas por las fuentes fidedignas participantes, lo que permite un acceso fácil y directo a los datos de registro oficiales de cada entidad y a la documentación asociada en el sitio web del registro correspondiente.
Esta evolución agilizará significativamente las comprobaciones de Conoce a tu cliente (KYC) y Conoce a tu proveedor (KYS), así como el cumplimiento de otras obligaciones de diligencia debida para los usuarios de datos globales. Elimina el requisito de que los usuarios de datos globales identifiquen inicialmente al agente de registro pertinente, naveguen al sitio web correcto, lo traduzcan al idioma local y luego busquen manualmente una organización utilizando su número del registro mercantil.

Cada registro contiene datos adicionales a los de los datos de referencia de LEI, específicos para cada registro y legislación nacional. Consulte la siguiente tabla, donde se describe cada registro vinculado y sus recursos de datos adicionales. Se incluye información sobre encargados, otros representantes autorizados, titulares efectivos, cuentas anuales y número de empleados, entre otros datos.
Los datos disponibles varían según el registro y no siempre están disponibles de forma gratuita.
