Standardization: The (Only) Road to Quality Identity Data
Because Legal Entity Identifiers (LEIs) use a global standard, they are a benchmark that regulators and other legal entities worldwide recognize, agree with, and trust. The same is said for the data contained within each individual LEI record. The business card information available within these records – the official name of the legal entity and its registered address – is standardized and implemented via the Common Data File (CDF) formats. In this episode of “GLEIF Explains”, Yogitha Sai Baddela, Data Scientist, discusses how the CDF ensures compliance with data standards in the Global LEI System.
“GLEIF Explains”, from the Global LEI Foundation, shines a light on the wealth of trusted data contained in the Global LEI System and how to use it to its full potential.
