  • Date: 2025-05-21

GLEIF and Finternet Lab, an initiative of the Networks for Humanity Foundation, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate on developing secure, interoperable digital infrastructure. The partnership will explore integrating GLEIF’s verifiable Legal Entity Identifier (vLEI) credentials with Finternet Lab’s open-source tools, including UNITS, DeDi frameworks, and transaction protocols, to address critical challenges in digital identity, data provenance, and ecosystem interoperability. Joint initiatives will focus on real-world use cases of the vLEI across finance, sustainability, and supply chains, with pilots, hackathons, and efforts to define common standards and governance models.
