Łączenie identyfikatorów z rejestrami przedsiębiorstw i innymi wiarygodnymi źródłami

Inicjatywa GLEIF dotycząca „łączenia” ma na celu usprawnienie procesów badania rzetelności kontrahentów oraz poprawę przejrzystości globalnych transakcji poprzez zwiększenie identyfikowalności i wykrywalności przedsiębiorstw na całym świecie.

Każdy rekord LEI zawiera kluczowe informacje referencyjne zarejestrowane przez lokalne wiarygodne źródła, co umożliwia jednoznaczną i niepowtarzalną identyfikację podmiotów prawnych w skali globalnej. „Łączenie” polega na dodaniu indywidualnego adresu URL do rekordów LEI podmiotów zarejestrowanych przez wiarygodne źródła uczestniczące w inicjatywie. Umożliwi to łatwy i bezpośredni dostęp do urzędowych danych rejestrowych każdego podmiotu wraz z towarzyszącą dokumentacją na stronie internetowej operatora odpowiedniego rejestru.

Istotnie zoptymalizuje to procedury sprawdzania klientów KYC (Know Your Customer) i dostawców KYS (Know Your Supplier) oraz inne zobowiązania w zakresie należytej staranności odbiorcom danych na całym świecie. Użytkownicy nie będą już musieli ręcznie ustalać właściwego organu rejestrowego, przechodzić do odpowiedniej witryny internetowej, tłumaczyć treści na lokalny język, po czym szukać organizacji po jej numerze rejestrowym przedsiębiorstwa.
